Project Shinkwe
This is our “mother project” where #Rhinomoon was started in 2016. This project is named after Shinkwe , a beautiful rhino cow that survived an onslaught by poachers. The main focus of this project is anti - poaching patrols and the learning of bush skills. The perimeter of this environment needs constant patrolling and the rhino needs to be monitored around the clock, a challenging exercise due to the bushveld habitat . In 2018 , they founded their own non - profit , Insimbi Legacy Projects , focusing on fundraising and adventure weekends and we are very proud to have been involved in the creation of this project!
